• In year 1991 Mr. Rawat won election from pauri seat and become a youngest minister in UtterPradesh. (Currently in Uttarakhand). And he got Minister of State for Tourism.

• Year 1993 Harak Singh Rawat won agian assembly election from Pauri.

• Year 1997 he was appointed as member of UP Congress Working Committee.

•1997 Mr. Rawat was appointed as vice-chairman of Khadi Gram Udyog Board in Uttar Pradesh.
